We look forward to sharing our peaceful valley and place with you and your friends. Tenuta Nissole is both a hazelnut farm and a hospitality venue. In the local Piemontese dialect, “Nissole” (Nocciole in Italian) means hazelnuts! From the moment you walk in the door, you’ll feel the special Tenuta Nissole treatment. Located just outside the historic town of Rocchetta Tanaro, and near its National Park, our Country House has splendid views of the surrounding forests yet is only a short drive to nearby towns such as Asti, Nizza Monferrato or Alba.

 

The main house features many of the typical Piemontese characteristics, such as brick vaulted ceilings and thick stone walls. The air-conditioned rooms are bright, airy and from which you can enjoy the views of the narrow valley and surrounding forest. Down a path along the top of the valley our second structure has several air-conditioned family rooms with their private bathrooms and a completely handicap-accessible double bedroom with its own large bathroom with shower and appropriate fixtures to accommodate the needs of people on wheelchairs.

It will be our pleasure as hosts to suggest places to visit. We live in the property, so are available anytime to arrange wine tastings or visits to nearby producers, as well as facilitate restaurant reservations.  Also, ask us about arranging an e-bike tour to enjoy a personalized trip to our surrounding hills and valleys.!
